Where Was Last Week?

Some of you may have noticed that the Pic of the Week did not arrive in your email boxes last week. It's been decided by the powers that be (me) that now that Asher has turned one, we will now do a bi-monthly Pic. You'll still get the same great photos that you've come to expect and the latest info about the little man, but it will come every other week. Now I know what you may be thinking. But it's in your best interest to slowly wean you from your dependence. So here's your shot in the arm:

Last week, we spent time with the women in Asher's life. We converged on Layla and Gianina's home for the afternoon to play with Gianina and Sadie. As you can see, they catered to Asher's whim, pushing him around in a wagon. He loved the attention.

This week he spent exploring areas of the house that he has not seen before. This consisted of getting stuck under the table among the chair legs as well as climbing the stairs for the first time. The latter was done without my knowledge until I heard him talking to himself through the monitor upstairs. It sure surprised me! But boy he was proud of himself.

He is now standing for brief periods of time without any help but I have yet to get a picture of it.

So that's it for the next two weeks. I hope you can stand it.
