Asher did two really fun things this week. First, we went to hang out with his buddy Daniel at the Children's Museum. It's pretty neat now that Asher is getting older as he can really start to enjoy the things they have to offer. I can hardly wait until he's crawling so that he can explore on his own. They have a toddler/tot area where only toddlers and babies are allowed so that they can do what they want without getting run over by older kids. This is a picture of him sitting in a padded area with lots of different shaped pillows. He was having a great time getting them piled around him and trying to taste each shape. I don't know that he ever figured out if circles taste different than triangles or squares. We'll have to go back and do another taste test.We then ended our week with our biggest gathering of parents to date. It was our Picnic in the Park/Parent Palooza (with plans for precipitation) event. We met in a park with Ady and her son Henry, Greg & Layla, with their daughter Gianina, Todd & Kirsten with their daughter Ainsley, and Heather & Arthur with their daughter India. It kept threatening to rain, but at the last minute the sun would always peek through. Everyone brought some of their favorite kids music so we had good food, good people and good music.

We all had a great time and are going to try again soon. I have to say though, it sure is hard trying to get a time that works for everyone. We've been trying to do this all summer and we still couldn't get everyone there.
That's all for now. Asher, Luke and I all send our love and slobbery kisses. Well actually, the slobbery kisses are only from Asher, but he's got plenty for everyone!
