Father's Day

It couldn't have been a gloomier Pacific Northwest day for Father's Day. But that didn't dampen our spirits. Asher was kind enough to let us both sleep in for a little while. We were able to awaken at 7am instead of the usual 5:30. What a treat! Then Asher & I got up to let Luke do a little extra Father's Day slumber. We put some presents together and joined him in bed for a bit before we headed out to one of our favorite bakeries, Grateful Bread. We sat and drank coffee (Asher had milk) and quiche for breakfast. We even read the paper if you can believe it. After that, we rested a bit at home while Luke played some video games and then we began our day of errands. Nothing spectacular or exciting in the day, but Luke did take a short nap. That's always a plus.
And as you can see, a good time was had by both father and son, gloomy or not.
