A Day at the Park

Asher and Henry spent an afternoon at the park this last week. It was a beautiful sunny day. A day meant for swings and bare feet. As you can see, we got to do both. I’ve discovered one of my new favorite smells is that of Asher’s head after we spend a day in the warm spring sun. It smells like, well, I don’t how to describe it, but it’s a great scent.
The most exciting thing that happened this week was hearing a real good chuckle come out of Asher for the first time. Before, Asher laughed but it was more monosyllabic than anything. But tonight, Luke was making goofy faces and noises and Asher just belted out a great polysyllabic (is that even a word?) laugh. It was the most beautiful and hysterically funny noise I've heard. Luke and I were cracking up while Luke continued to get Asher to giggle away. It was great. I can't wait for others to hear it. Getting him to laugh is definitely on my to do list tomorrow.
